Six lesson strands, one teacher. One gentle scroll.

Hosanna! Music Specialist is Ruby — a private music teacher offering piano, voice and music theory lessons, with a program designed for children aged 2 to 14. The visitor is usually a parent, and the site had to feel like the lesson before it asked for anything.

The tone is the product.

A parent choosing a music teacher is choosing who sits down with their four-year-old. Price lists and hard-sell buttons work against that. So the web design brief was warmth first: soft illustration, generous space, and a first screen that reads "Where Music Blooms with Joy" rather than a pitch.

Warm is not the same as vague. Her own about copy leads with more than twenty years of teaching piano and voice and a Bachelor of Music — so the site says that plainly, in her words, in the second section, where a parent looking for reassurance will actually find it.

One page, in the order a parent asks.

Who is teaching, what gets taught, what the signature ages 2–14 program is for, and then how to ask. Every link in the header points further down that one page, so nobody has to guess which tab holds the answer. The six lesson strands sit together in the middle, one line each.

  1. Piano Foundations

  2. Vocal Coaching

  3. Ear Training

  4. Rhythm Play

  5. Music Theory

  6. Performance Confidence

The enquiry form is the detail worth stealing. It asks four things — a name, the child's age, an email and a message — and the child's age is the one that matters, because it's the first thing a teacher needs to know and the last thing a generic contact form ever asks. The "Book a Lesson" button in the header goes straight to it.

A soft site can still ask for the enquiry.

It gets the same treatment as every build afterwards — hosting that keeps it quick on a phone in a school car park, and ongoing care when the term dates change.
