How much does a small business website cost in Australia?
Two numbers. Running the site costs from $9.95 a week for hosting, care and support, plus about $10–25 a year for your domain. The build is a one-off cost, quoted up front, that depends on how many pages you need, how ready your content is, and extras like booking or payments. Both are agreed before any work starts.
Why is it so affordable?
One person does the work, so you pay for design, build and care — not account managers, an office and an agency margin. The trade-off is scope: this suits small-business sites, not six-month enterprise projects.
What does "from $9.95 a week" mean?
Most small-business sites run on the standard plan, from $9.95 a week. If yours needs more — extra update time, bigger features or heavier traffic — we quote the weekly rate with your build, before any work starts.
Can I cancel the plan?
Yes. There's no lock-in contract, so you can stop the weekly plan any time.
What happens to my site if I stop the plan?
The plan includes hosting, so the site goes offline — but we'll hand over your site files so you can host them elsewhere. Your domain and content stay yours.
Are there any other costs?
Just your domain name, usually $10–25 a year. Keep it with your own registrar or have us renew it for you at cost — it stays in your name either way. No setup fees, plugin licences or surprise renewals.
What's not covered by the weekly plan?
The plan covers hosting, security monitoring, backups, performance checks, business-hours email support and up to two small content updates a month. It doesn't include 24/7 phone support, monthly rewrites or new pages, marketing or SEO retainers, or redesigns. Bigger work like that is quoted as its own project.
Do you work with businesses outside Perth?
Yes. We're based in Perth and work with small businesses right across Australia. Scoping starts with a quick call or email, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Perth time.
